The Role
- Full-time small-animal primary care with a focus on prevention, client education, and continuity of care
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgeries (including spay/neuter) and basic dental procedures
- Utilize radiography and dental radiography to support case workups
- Oversee anesthesia and pain management protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with technicians and assistants who provide hands-on nursing, lab work, and dental imaging under DVM direction
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and service excellence, including support for drop-off appointments
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital policies and quality standards
- Participate in continuing education and contribute to a positive, team-centered culture
- Predictable daytime schedule with weekday and limited weekend hours
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
