The Role
- Provide comprehensive small animal care across wellness, prevention, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and in-house diagnostics
- Interpret imaging and lab results; formulate and communicate treatment plans
- Manage anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures
- Collaborate with a skilled support team to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, focusing on education and long-term relationships
- Support occasional urgent cases within general practice capabilities
- Participate in a primarily weekday daytime schedule with shared flexibility; occasional boarding-related support as needed
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a client-centered approach
