The Hospital

The Role

  • Part-time Associate Veterinarian focused on preventive medicine and client education
  • Provide wellness care, vaccinations, and routine diagnostics using on-site digital radiology and in-house lab testing
  • Perform and/or support dentistry and routine soft-tissue surgery, including spay/neuter
  • Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians, shift leads, and clinical leadership to deliver high-quality, team-based care
  • Communicate clearly with pet owners, creating personalized care plans and ensuring continuity of care
  • Participate in a schedule that includes weekdays and some weekends (including Sunday coverage on rotation)

Requirements

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • DEA registration (or eligibility) for prescription authority
  • Commitment to preventive medicine, dentistry, and routine surgery
