Job Title: Veterinarian – Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (Part-Time)

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and efficient Veterinarian to join our low-cost spay/neuter clinic team. The veterinarian will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter services while ensuring exceptional standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality spay and neuter surgeries on cats and dogs in a high-volume setting
- Conduct pre-operative exams and ensure patients are appropriate surgical candidates
- Oversee anesthesia protocols and monitor patient safety throughout procedures
- Provide post-operative care instructions and ensure proper recovery practices
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and clinic staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Uphold clinic standards for cleanliness, safety, and humane handling
- Support a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Active veterinary license in good standing
- Surgical experience required; high-volume spay/neuter experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia and pain management protocols
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality of care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for animal welfare and serving underserved populations
