Hybrid Emergency/GP Veterinarian – seeking new graduates (mentorship provided), internship‑trained, or experienced DVMs.
Practice Overview
We are a progressive eight‑doctor practice that embraces a team‑based approach to medicine and mentorship. Our mission is to provide high‑quality, compassionate care to our patients in a collaborative and positive work environment.
Schedule & Compensation
Our schedule supports a healthy work‑life balance with doctors working 3‑4 shifts per week, including rotating weekends and evenings. We offer an attractive compensation and benefits package.
Facilities
- 10 exam rooms
- 2 comfort rooms with outdoor access
- Two well‑equipped small animal surgery suites
- Dental suite with 2 dental tables
- Large treatment area with an ICU
- Separate dog and cat housing areas
- Large oxygen cage
- In‑house Idexx lab with state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic capabilities
- Digital x‑ray, digital dental x‑ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, orthopedic equipment, gas anesthesia
- Patient monitoring with pulse oximetry, EKG, and blood pressure
Location
Rapid City, South Dakota – part of the Black Hills region, known for outdoor recreation such as hiking, camping, and more. The city has a population of 70,000 with an expanding metropolitan area and offers affordable living, low crime, excellent schools, and community events.
