The Role

  • Full-time small-animal veterinarian providing high-quality preventive care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, and nutrition counseling
  • Diagnose and manage common medical conditions; perform routine surgeries and dentistry; provide basic orthopedic evaluation and treatment as appropriate
  • Utilize on-site diagnostics, imaging, and an in-house pharmacy to develop efficient, patient-centered care plans
  • Deliver clear, compassionate client communication and build long-term relationships in a bilingual community
  • Collaborate with a capable support team to maintain an efficient, positive clinic culture
  • Participate in drop-off case management and coordinate client services such as online pharmacy and microchipping
  • Schedule includes some weekend and early/late shifts aligned with clinic hours

Requirements

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
  • License to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • DEA registration or eligibility preferredStrong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to preventive care
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, retail-embedded setting; Spanish or multilingual skills are a plus
