The Role
- Provide high-quality general practice care for canine and feline patients, including wellness, internal medicine, and urgent needs.
- Perform diagnostics and procedures supported by digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house lab testing, dental services, and an in-office surgical suite.
- Manage routine soft-tissue surgeries and dental procedures; coordinate care for hospitalized patients as needed.
- Communicate clearly with clients, offering education and guidance that supports preventive care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with credentialed technicians and support staff to deliver efficient, low-stress patient care.
- Contribute to a rotating schedule that may include some evening hours and a partial Saturday, with Sundays closed.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice (or eligibility to obtain) in the state of Massachusetts
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to ethical, high-standard medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; all experience levels considered
