The Veterinary Assistant supports veterinarians and veterinary technicians in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets, advocates for pets, educates clients on all aspects of pet health, and ensures a safe and effective hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures.
• Advocate for pets and ensure their well‑being throughout care.
• Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment.
• Follow all policies and procedures related to animal care and client service.

Pay

Hourly rate: $15.99 – $20.44 (varies by experience, skill level, and location).
