The Role

• Provide comprehensive small-animal care across wellness, preventive medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery
• Optional involvement with exotic and pocket-pet cases, supported by experienced staff and appropriate resources
• Perform and interpret diagnostics, including digital radiography and in-house laboratory testing
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans and deliver excellent client education
• Collaborate with a cohesive medical and support team to uphold high clinical standards and a positive practice culture
• Participate in quality improvement, case reviews, and mentorship where appropriate

Requirements

• DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• License to practice in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Strong communication skills and a client-centered, compassionate approach
• Interest in exotic/pocket-pet care welcomed but not required
