Overview

CSRA Veterinary Services in beautiful Aiken, SC, is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated veterinarian to join our compassionate and growing team. We are a multi-doctor small animal practice focusing on high-quality medicine and HQHVSN surgery, committed to providing exceptional medical care, advanced diagnostics, and outstanding client education in a supportive and friendly environment. Responsibilities

  • Performing comprehensive physical examinations and developing treatment plans for a diverse caseload of small animal patients
  • Diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, including internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, and more
  • Performing routine and complex surgical procedures (e.g., spays, neuters, soft tissue surgery, dental extractions)
  • Interpreting diagnostic imaging (radiographs, ultrasound) and laboratory results
  • Administering vaccinations and implementing preventive care protocols
  • Educating clients on pet health, nutrition, preventive medicine, and treatment options
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records using our veterinary practice management software
  • Collaborating effectively with our skilled team of veterinary technicians, assistants, and receptionists
  • Participating in continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine
  • Providing compassionate end-of-life care and client support

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited university
  • Current and active South Carolina veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in small animal practice preferred, but highly motivated new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client education and empathy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Experience with Idexx NEO is a plus
