The Veterans Home RN is an essential member of the South Dakota Veterans Home, providing professional nursing services in a long‑term care setting. The role requires the application of basic nursing principles, practices, and techniques that align with established healthcare procedures and standards. Successful candidates will work in a patient‑care environment focused on the well‑being of individual veterans. Pay and classification are determined by a combination of education and experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Must be licensed and able to work as a registered nurse in South Dakota.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Registered Nurse license with an associate degree, bachelor degree, or 3‑year diploma. New graduates are welcome. On‑the‑job training is available. All required certificates and/or tests for performance at this level must be obtained and/or completed.
