Resolving billing issues related to diagnostic testing, the full-time Veterans Billing Specialist will ensure facilities bill VES directly rather than the Veteran, conduct outreach to medical facilities, and maintain accurate records in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Update facility billing information and request claims processing payments Conduct outbound outreach to clarify billing requirements and coordinate invoice reassignment Provide Veterans with confirmation of resolution and maintain a daily log of follow-ups Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED required One to two years of related experience in insurance or medical billing Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder Ability to work a training schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CT, Monday-Friday for up to 3 weeks Permanent residence in the Continental U.S. is required
