About the RoleHorizon is a national multifamily plumbing contractor with active work across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, Colorado, and additional growth markets. We’re hiring a seasoned leader to run field operations on large, vertically stacked apartment and hotel projects.A Day in the LifeYou arrive on site before crews mobilize, walk the floors to verify layout from underground through trim, and confirm materials are staged for the day. You kick off stretch-and-flex, align subcontractor crews on priorities, and check today’s inspections with the local jurisdiction. Mid-morning, you review shop drawings and specs to ensure installations meet company standards, codes, and the project schedule. Throughout the day, you keep a tight pulse on productivity, safety, and organization—resolving issues quickly and documenting progress in daily and weekly reports. Before you leave, you update look-ahead plans and coordinate what’s needed to keep tomorrow on track.What You’ll LeadDaily supervision of plumbing work on large, vertically stacked multifamily and hospitality projects.Direction and coordination of subcontractor crews to sustain productivity and hit schedule milestones.Quality control to meet Horizon standards, project specifications, and local code requirements.Onsite material oversight to enable smooth, efficient installation.Inspection scheduling and routine communication with local jurisdictions.Verification of plumbing layouts and installations from underground through final trim.Accurate daily/weekly reporting and documentation.Maintenance of a safe, organized, and professional jobsite.Minimum QualificationsDeep understanding of stacked plumbing systems serving multiple floors in multifamily buildings.5+ years of plumbing construction experience on multi-story residential or hospitality projects.Track record managing large, vertically stacked projects—200+ units or similar scale—from underground layout to final trim.Ability to read and interpret multifamily plumbing drawings and specifications.Strong leadership with clear communication and excellent organization.Skilled at juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.PreferredExperience with Bluebeam and Hilti Total Station.OSHA 30.State plumbing licenses are not required for all projects.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay commensurate with experience.Employer-paid medical and prescription coverage.Dental and vision insurance.Life insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid holidays.Paid vacation/PTO.Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).Professional development assistance.Tuition reimbursement.Advancement opportunities within a growing national organization.Why HorizonWe invest in people who take pride in craftsmanship, lead by example, and build strong teams.
