We are hiring dependable Vertical Machine Operators for full-time, temp-to-hire positions in the Melbourne, FL Industrial Park. In this role, you will operate vertical manufacturing equipment, perform machine setups, read technical specifications, and use precision measuring tools to inspect finished products while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor vertical manufacturing machinery following established work instructions and specifications.
* Perform basic machine setups and authorized adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
* Load/unload production materials and inspect finished products using measuring tools to detect defects.
* Read and follow work orders, technical drawings, and keep accurate production records.
* Maintain a clean, safe workstation and report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
Requirements:
* Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred (vertical equipment experience is a plus).
* Strong mechanical aptitude, basic troubleshooting skills, and math/measurement ability.
* Ability to read and follow written work orders, instructions, and technical specifications.
* Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and ability to work in a team environment.
* Must be willing to undergo a drug screen and background check prior to placement.
