Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator DBA with 5-7 years of handson experience in Vertica Sybase ASE and Sybase IQ environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install configure upgrade and maintain Vertica Sybase ASE and Sybase IQ databases
- Monitor database health availability and performance to ensure optimal operation
- Perform database performance tuning query optimization and capacity planning
- Manage backup recovery and disaster recovery processes
- Implement and support high availability clustering and replication solutions
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide L2L3 production support
- Ensure database security user access management and compliance requirements
- Plan and execute database migrations patches and version upgrades
- Create and maintain database documentation operational procedures and runbooks
- Collaborate with application infrastructure and support teams for seamless service delivery
- Support automation and scripting initiatives for database administration activities
