The Practice Manager serves as an operational resource to the Hospital Director, ensuring daily functions run smoothly across departments while supporting team development, compliance and client experience goals. This role is a key connector between frontline teams and senior leadership, translating strategy into day-to-day execution.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional management experience.
- Minimum three years of management experience in a veterinary, human healthcare or high-volume service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-department operations and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing schedules, workflows and operational systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
Preferred
- Experience in specialty or emergency veterinary medicine or human hospital operations.
- Prior experience in a PE‑backed or multi‑site healthcare organization.
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or equivalent management credential.
- Familiarity with practice management software such as ezyVet, Impromed or AVImark.
Work Environment
This position is onsite full‑time at a fast‑paced specialty and emergency veterinary environment. The role requires frequent movement throughout the facility, extended periods at a computer for administrative tasks, and availability during varying shifts including some evenings and weekends based on operational needs.
