Verification and Validation Engineer

Job Description

A well known aerospace company is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in Requirements Verification & Validation (V&V) to support the company's Fuel Systems and Nitrogen Generation Systems (NGS) programs. This individual will be responsible for validating and verifying system requirements in accordance with FAA processes, ensuring traceability between requirements, design artifacts, analyses, test results, and certification documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong systems engineering background with experience managing requirements in DOORS, reviewing Specification Control Documents (SCDs), and supporting certification-driven development activities within complex aerospace systems.

  Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, or related field).

  3+ years of Systems Engineering, Requirements Engineering, Verification & Validation, or related experience.

  Experience with requirements validation, verification, and traceability processes.

• n

  Proficiency with IBM DOORS or similar requirements management tools.

• n

  Experience reviewing and interpreting system requirements and technical specifications.

• n

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• n

  Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. - Experience with Boeing aircraft programs or commercial/military aerospace development.

  Knowledge of Fuel Systems, Propulsion Systems, or Nitrogen Generation Systems (NGS).

• n

  Experience working with Specification Control Documents (SCDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and System Requirement Objectives (SROs).

  Familiarity with aircraft certification processes and compliance documentation.

• n

  Experience supporting supplier management and requirements flow-down activities.

• n

  Background in systems integration, design assurance, or aerospace certification programs.
