Job Title: Vendor Management Analyst
Overview
This position supports the Bank’s Third-Party Risk Management and Vendor Management program by maintaining a complete and accurate vendor inventory and providing independent risk-based oversight of vendor relationships. The analyst ensures vendors are appropriately assessed, monitored, and managed throughout the vendor lifecycle in accordance with regulatory expectations, internal policies, and risk management standards. The analyst partners with business units, Compliance, Information Security, and Risk Management to evaluate vendor risk and maintain an effective vendor oversight framework.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate due diligence of vendors, facilitate contract reviews, and prepare materials for regulatory examinations and board reporting.
- Conduct initial and ongoing due diligence reviews for third-party vendors.
- Review financial statements, SOC reports, cybersecurity assessments, business continuity plans, insurance coverage, and other documentation.
- Assess vendor risks related to operational, compliance, reputational, strategic, and information security concerns.
- Identify and escalate concerns or gaps.
- Track completion of ongoing monitoring requirements and due diligence reviews.
- Assist with review of vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Track contract renewals, expirations, and termination requirements.
- Ensure contracts meet required regulatory risk management provisions.
- Maintain documentation necessary for regulatory examinations and internal audits.
- Assist in responding to examiner and auditor requests.
- Maintain the vendor management repository and prepare reports for management committees, senior leadership, and Board as needed.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to identify and manage vendor risks.
- Provide guidance and training to relationship managers regarding vendor management requirements.
- Adhere to and promote the Bank’s core values and professional standards.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed.
- May require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on a personal mobile device for security purposes.
- Adhere to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance (including BSA/AML) and to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned and requested.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Required – High school diploma or GED; continuing education to maintain job knowledge; three to five years of banking experience.
- Preferred – Three to five years of customer service experience.
- Preferred – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
