Vehicle Technician — Autonomous FleetWe are partnering with an on-demand autonomous ride-hailing company to hire an engineering-focused Vehicle Technician to support the readiness and reliability of its fleet vehicles. This is a hands-on shop role performing maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and fleet reworks in a fast-moving autonomous vehicle environment.What You'll DoPerform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspectionsComplete multi-point inspections and quality control checksDocument work and findings in a service platformConfigure and sign off vehicles for safe on-road operationCoordinate repairs and escalate issues to engineering as neededMaintain tools, parts inventory, and shop organizationFollow all safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, Cal/OSHA)What We're Looking For2–4+ years of automotive technician experienceStrong knowledge of vehicle repair methods, tools, and systemsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordForklift operation experience (Cal/OSHA-compliant certification required)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periodsReliable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentAble to pass background check, MVR, and drug screenNice To HaveExperience in automotive engineering or R&D labsKnowledge of CAN, wiring diagrams, or solderingTrade school certificate or Associate degree in automotive repairExperience towing trailers or fleet vehiclesSchedule OptionsDay: 8:00am–4:30pm Evening: 2:00pm–10:30pm (Multiple weekday/weekend combinations available)Pay: $38/hour Location: San Francisco, CA (on-site) Type: Full-time contract (30+ hrs/week)
