Vehicle Technician (BaseOps)Our client, a Av Manufacturing company, is looking for a Vehicle Technician for their Los Angeles, CA location.Responsibilities:The vehicle technician will perform maintenance, repairs, and contribute towards the operations of our lab.This includes scheduled service, diagnostics, repair coordination, lab space fit/function, and general upkeep.Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road usage.Sync with Shop Foreman to ensure all vehicles are in a "ready" state for demonstration and testing requirementsPerform diagnostics and escalate to the appropriate engineering team if requiredCoordinate and drive the repair processCreate diagnostic test plans as the team sees fitMaintain service records and document quality field reportsMaintain shop facilities, ensure tools are in order, and workspace is in excellent working conditionAssist with parts inventory, location, and organizationBuild an excellent service experience for internal teams and business partnersRequirements:We are looking for an engineering-focused vehicle technician to support the readiness of our fleet vehicles.Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehiclesMinimum of 2 - 4 years of technician experienceReliable, self-starter, roll-up-the-sleeves work ethosAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverablesTeam playerExcellent written and verbal skillsMust be honest, responsible and an outstanding communicatorForklift and/or gantry operation is required. client will provide all forklift operator training and certifications compliant with Cal/OSHA standards.Experience in an automotive-focused engineering or research lab (i.e. Dyno, Battery, etc.)Knowledge of CAN, wiring diagrams and soldering preferredTechnical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in automotive repairWhy Should You Apply?Health BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
