Assembler Class 3Position Description: Assembler Class 3Salary: $28.09 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday with OTHours: 6:00am - 2:30pmSummary: The Assembler Class 3 plays a vital role in the assembly of airport ground support equipment. In this position, you will be working with mechanical systems and following technical manuals and schematics. You will be responsible for ensuring precision and quality in your assembly work.Responsibilities:Ability to read and interpret automotive blueprints and subassembly printsProficient use of a tape measure for accurate measurementsSkill in chassis layout and drilling holes to specificationsInstallation of Power Take-Off (PTO) systems and drive shaftsReading and comprehension of Bills of Materials (BOM)Ability to assemble units accurately according to blueprintsCompletion of confined space trainingProper torquing of bolts to specificationExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications:18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesMust provide their own hand toolsMust have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving recordCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
