To ensure financial accuracy and integrity of vehicle sales transactions, the remote Vehicle Accountant will manage the accounting lifecycle from sale through reconciliation, collaborating with various departments while processing an average of 250 vehicle deals per month. Key responsibilities Process and post New and Used vehicle sales transactions Record and monitor revenue and cost of sales related to vehicle sales Maintain and reconcile accounting schedules for receivables, payables, and inventory Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in dealership accounting or administration Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and understanding of balance forward and aging schedules Experience with Dealer Management Systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
