Required Skills & Experience
-2+ years of VDC/BIM experience, on the GC side; data center experience is highly valued.
-Experience managing and coordinating models, leading coordination meetings, resolving trade conflicts, and supporting BIM-to-field activities.
-BIM Coordinator experience is acceptable if responsibilities align with the role.
-Education is flexible: associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture,
-Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
-Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Synchro,
SketchUp, or similar BIM/VDC tools.
-Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Must be able to work on-site five days per week in El Mirage, AZ.

Job Description
A large General Construction company is seeking a VDC Engineer who can take coordination beyond the model and into the field. This role is for someone who understands how building systems come together, can work with project teams to resolve issues, and wants to see coordinated work built.
- Lead BIM coordination discussions and help resolve issues with project teams and trade partners.
- Connect model coordination to field conditions through validation and deviation detection.
- Evaluate field issues, communicate options, and make sound decisions with the project team.
- Use technologies such as laser scanning and registration, robotic layout, and photographic progress tracking as the project requires.
