The developer will be working with Front Office so must have experience working with traders/Fixed Income products It requires a strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Excel VBA development, SQL writing and the ability to understand, at a high level, business and financial processes.
The developer is expected to perform development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents, in addition to resolving defects encountered during the various testing cycles. The candidate will be working closely with trading desks in order to build and support their tools.Responsibilities:Reviewing gathered requirements.Analyzing and designing applications efficiently to ensure that customers' needs are met respecting due dates.Building web applications for front officers (Frontend/Backend).Modifying user interfaces in Excel as well as creating and modifying SQL queries.Troubleshooting VBA code and stored procedures.Documenting applications.Participating in application testing process.Requirements:2+ years of experience in writing Excel VBA and SQL, developing and troubleshooting.3+ years of experience in programming in Object Orienting Programming (Java/.NET/C++).Ability to work independently and as a team player in fast paced dynamic software development/support environments.Strong analytical skills for problem solving.Basic Finance knowledge.Experience in working in trading floor.Knowledge of Front end development is a plus (React, Angular, Typescript, Javascript).
