An opportunity is available for an experienced professional with expertise in vascular imaging and ultrasound. This position focuses on performing diagnostic vascular sonography procedures in a clinical setting, delivering high-quality patient care over an 8-week contract period.
Schedule & Hours:
- Full-time, 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Five 8-hour shifts, day shift
- Staggered start times between 7:00 am and 8:30 am
- On-call responsibilities: one night per week and one weekend per month
- Current ARDMS certification required
- Active BLS certification
- Valid Mississippi state license
- Demonstrated skills in vascular ultrasound and imaging
- Prior experience as a Vascular Sonographer or Vascular Tech preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with accepted protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret and relay imaging findings
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Accurately document all findings and maintain patient records
- Participate in on-call rotation, providing timely response for urgent cases
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards
- Scrubs provided by the hospital for your convenience
