Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, New York, is seeking a BE/BC Vascular Surgeon to join its highly collegial department. This role involves performing a full breadth of vascular surgical procedures and endo-vascular interventions within an award-winning, acute care, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The successful candidate will contribute to patient care, teaching, and a team-oriented environment.

Practice Info

  • Join a highly collegial department with two full-time vascular surgeons.
  • The division has a fully accredited-vascular lab ICAVL, a state-of-the-art interventional suite, and a Vascular Access program.
  • Mount Sinai South Nassau is a Level II verified trauma center with approximately 65,000 ED visits annually.
  • Designated a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for outstanding nursing care.
  • Operates the only Trauma Center on the South Shore of Nassau County verified by the American College of Surgeons.
  • EMR system: EPIC.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the full breadth of vascular surgical procedures and endo-vascular interventions.
  • Teach residents and students.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary offered.
  • Compensation range from $350,000 to $375,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).

Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
  • New York Medical License.
  • BE or BC in Vascular Surgery.
