Staten Island University Hospital-Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to join their faculty. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with strong leadership qualities to contribute to a growing vascular practice. The position involves comprehensive in- and out-patient care for a wide array of vascular surgery patients, with significant opportunities for service expansion.

Practice Info

  • Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) is a 714-bed teaching hospital across two campuses.
  • The North campus houses Staten Island's most modern emergency department, a Level 1 trauma center with 36 ICU beds, a state-of-the-art education center, and a medical arts pavilion.
  • The South campus offers its own emergency department and specialty programs including geriatric psychiatry, behavioral health, and substance abuse services.
  • The Department of Surgery at SIUH consists of 40 full-time and 6 part-time Physicians across various surgical disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-patient care for a wide array of vascular surgery patients.
  • Provide out-patient care for a wide array of vascular surgery patients.
  • Provide the full spectrum of elective vascular surgical procedures.
  • Provide the full spectrum of emergency vascular surgical procedures.

Compensation

  • Full-time clinical base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $750,000.
  • Sign-On Bonus.

  • Possess excellent clinical and technical skills.

  • Possess excellent surgical skills.
  • Possess excellent clinical judgment.
  • Have a passion for patient care.
  • Be a board eligible/certified vascular surgeon.
  • Receive a faculty appointment at Zucker School of Medicine as part of the position.
