Sanford Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Surgeon to join an established and growing practice within their Heart and Vascular department. This role involves providing comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for arterial, venous, and lymphatic circulatory system disorders. - Heart and Vascular department includes interventional, general, and EP cardiologists, along with 6 APPs
- Practice includes surgical, procedures, clinic, and hospital settings
- Experienced support staff, including nursing and technology team
- Noninvasive services: vascular ultrasound, ABI, Echo, Stress echo, nuclear cardiology, TEE, CCTA
- 118 bed hospital, 14 bed ICU, Level III trauma center
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and consult
- Provide nonsurgical and surgical care to patients of all ages with disease and disorders of the arterial, venous, and lymphatic circulatory systems, excluding the intracranial vessels or heart
Compensation
- Nationally competitive compensation plan
- Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $516,690 - $668,658 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Ability to demonstrate at least 50 vascular surgery procedures in the last 12 months
- Successful completion of a vascular fellowship via one of the four pathways approved and accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
- Required Additional Certification: Registered Physician Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) offered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
