Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join Southern Vascular in Lafayette, Louisiana. This clinically busy practice encompasses the breadth of vascular disease, offering a range of open and endovascular procedures including bypasses, endarterectomy, amputations, and venous procedures. Providers will enjoy a collaborative, integrated practice model with strong internal referral networks, dedicated OR time, and APP support.

Responsibilities
- Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards
- Complies with its Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct, including the immediate reporting of any known or suspected unethical or questionable behaviors or conduct; patient/employee safety, patient privacy, and/or other compliance-related concerns

Shift & Schedule
- Weekly call rotation shared amongst physicians within the group (clinic and hospital consult)
Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible for certification in physician's primary specialty
- Licensed Practicing Provider MD/DO
- Credentialed and willing to maintain clinical practice
- Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly
- Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities
- Involves the handling of hazardous drugs and/or hazardous drug contaminated products
