Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in facilities across the network.
- Deliver physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to develop clinical excellence.
- Autonomy and flexible scheduling, typically around a 45 hour work week for full-time positions.
- Participate in onboarding and ongoing professional development (paid training).
Qualifications
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Practice Overview
- Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7am–4pm); part-time available.
- No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
- Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4–5 days per week.
- Mobile practice: physicians visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
- Physicians visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day.
- Clinical documentation at point of care, in real-time during rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.
- Paid training provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship.
- W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship).
