Jackson and Coker is seeking a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon for an ongoing locums opportunity in California, with an anticipated start in October. This role focuses on outpatient care, offering a flexible commitment of at least one week per month. Responsibilities
- Perform Arterial Interventions: Balloon angioplasty, stenting, and atherectomy to open narrowed leg arteries caused by peripheral artery disease (PAD)
- Provide Venous Treatments: Endovenous radiofrequency or laser ablation, venograms, and sclerotherapy to treat varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency
- Manage Dialysis Access Maintenance: Fistulograms, declotting procedures, and the placement or replacement of temporary and permanent dialysis catheters (Permcath)
- Conduct Other Minor Surgeries: Temporal artery biopsies and subcutaneous port placements for long-term intravenous access
