The provider will work in a Level I Trauma Center and Joint Commission Accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, engaging in a predominantly consult hospital practice with some clinic. This role offers an opportunity for an academic appointment at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and collaboration with a robust multidisciplinary team. - Predominantly consult hospital practice with some clinic
- Telestroke services to regional locations
- Neuro ICU staffed by neuro-intensivists
- Academic appointment at University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences with an opportunity to collaborate with basic scientists and to educate medical students and residents
- Neurology department consists of 17 neurologists and 8 Advanced practice providers
Responsibilities
- Participate in shared stroke call with stroke neurologists
- Provide telestroke services to regional locations
- Work in collaboration with colleagues in neurosurgery, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation
- Educate medical students and residents
