Looking for a weekday sonography role with a broad mix of cardiac and vascular studies? Join a well-established healthcare organization in Tampa as a full-time, direct-hire Cardiovascular Sonographer

You'll perform diagnostic studies for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric, helping the care team deliver accurate, high-quality patient care.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
• No nights or weekends
• Some holiday coverage

What you'll do

• Perform and document cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures according to department standards.
• Adapt exams to each patient's medical needs and gather information to support accurate interpretation.
• Perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, contrast and agitated saline studies, and assist with TEE procedures.
• Perform carotid, abdominal, and upper- and lower-extremity arterial and venous studies, including ABIs, PVRs, post-ablation exams, and bypass graft, stent, and endarterectomy imaging.
• Calculate and report findings accurately while helping procedures run smoothly and on time.

What you'll bring

• Completion of a two-year cardiac or vascular ultrasound program.
• At least two years of diagnostic sonography experience, including cardiac and adult vascular ultrasound.
• RDCS, RCS, and/or RVT certification in the appropriate modality.
• Basic EKG knowledge.
• BLS certification upon hire or within 90 days.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
