The Department of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a vascular neurologist to join its expanding Comprehensive Stroke Program at Mount Sinai Queens. This role involves participating in clinical activities across the Mount Sinai Health System's integrated hospitals, including inpatient, consult, and outpatient services, as well as the Telestroke Program. The successful candidate will be appointed as an Assistant Professor or higher, with opportunities for clinical or bench research and career development within a leading academic medical system.

- The department includes over twenty current stroke and interventional faculty
- Robust neurology residency program and three neurointerventional and three vascular neurology fellows per year
Responsibilities
- Participate in the clinical activities within the MSHS Stroke Program at one or more of our six integrated system hospitals
- Engage in the Inpatient Stroke Teaching Service
- Contribute to the Stroke Consult Service
- Work in the Outpatient Stroke Clinic
- Participate in the Telestroke Program
- Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of a health system
Compensation
- Compensation range from $210,000 to $350,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
- The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits

Requirements
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- BE or BC in Neurology
- Completed ACGME-fellowship training in Vascular Neurology, or equivalent
- Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
