An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for a Vascular/Interventional Radiologist at an inpatient hospital located in Rockville, Maryland. The provider will deliver comprehensive interventional radiology and general diagnostic imaging services to support regional patient care workflows. This role features ongoing day shift coverage utilizing advanced clinical systems including McKesson PACS and Philips IR equipment.
Practice Info
- Inpatient hospital located in Rockville, Maryland
- Utilizes McKesson PACS and Philips IR equipment
- Support staff of 4 MDs on site (group of 22 MDs)
- Expected procedural volume of 8-10 procedures per shift and up to 8-15 procedures per day
- Modalities include general diagnostic in between procedures (PF, US, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site inpatient coverage
- Perform procedures including biopsies, cysts, aspirations, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms
- Perform general diagnostic imaging between interventional cases as able
- Utilize Powerscribe 360 for dictation and clinical documentation
- Fulfill weeknight and weekend call responsibilities

- Day shift
- Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 7 on 7 off schedule
- Weeknight and weekend call responsibilities
Requirements
- Board certification required
