American Leadership Academy - Vistancia is currently seeking a qualified Varsity Head Cross Country Coach for the season. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.
Duties
- Make specific requests for equipment and supplies with help from the Assistant Coach. Assign priority based on safety, need and cost.
- Manage care and distribution of equipment and supplies
- Attend all meetings held by the Athletic Director and the League Chairperson.
- Establish good public relations with parents, teachers, community, and the news media.
- Report contest results to the Athletic Director.
- Verify all practice/game fields are safe for players and spectators.
- Have a well-developed coaching philosophy.
- Have a "Plan for Success" that outlines expectations and discipline for the program.
- Develop a year-round action plan for maximizing the potential of each athlete.
- Other duties as assigned, including any pre or post-season responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card

- Previous experience as Coach
- Previous classroom teaching experience
