- Oversee daily manufacturing operations
- Lead production teams and ensure performance targets are met across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, HR, and other departments
- Coach, develop, and support production employees through effective leadership and training
- Plan and coordinate work schedules to meet production and customer requirements
- Monitor performance metrics and analyze production data
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate equipment maintenance activities
- Promote a strong safety culture through hazard identification, risk assessments, and employee involvement
Requirements
- High school diploma required; degree in Business, Engineering, Technical Studies, or a related field preferred
- Five or more years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working within a Lean Manufacturing culture and applying Lean tools
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations
- Experience managing employee payroll transactions and approvals
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead teams, build engagement, and deliver results
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make sound decisions
