Propulsion System Validation EngineerKey Responsibilities:Develop and maintain comprehensive DVPs for propulsion systems, ensuring alignment with program requirements and industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, testing, software, controls, and calibration) to define validation strategies and test coverage.Automate DVP creation and tracking using tools such as Excel VBA, Python, or specialized validation software.Automate test maneuver, identify test patterns using tools such as Excel VBA, Python, or specialized validation software.Integrate test results and feedback into DVPs to support continuous improvement and issue resolution.Support the development of automated reporting systems for test status, KPIs, and issue tracking.Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards for propulsion system validation.Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and validation planning.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or industrial5+ years of experience in propulsion system development, testing, or validation.Strong understanding of propulsion system components (e.g., engines, motors, transmissions, batteries).High level knowledge of propulsion system architecturesExperience with DVP&R processes and tools.
