UX/UI DesignerWe are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and/or mobile applications. This role will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements and user needs into elegant, functional designs. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with a deep understanding of usability, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign intuitive and engaging user experiences and interfaces for web and mobile productsTranslate business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designsConduct user research, usability testing, and design validation to inform design decisionsCreate and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI componentsCollaborate with product managers and developers throughout the design and development lifecycleIterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder inputEnsure designs meet accessibility (WCAG) and usability best practicesSupport handoff to engineering with clear design specifications and assetsParticipate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design standardsRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product DesignStrong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and visual design skillsProficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similarSolid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architectureExperience designing responsive web and/or mobile applicationsAbility to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong collaboration and problem-solving skillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have QualificationsExperience with design systems and component librariesFamiliarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks (for collaboration, not coding)Experience working in Agile or Scrum environmentsKnowledge of usability testing tools and research methodologiesBackground in SaaS, enterprise, or data-driven applicationsAccessibility or UX certification is a plusKavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
