Reporting to the UX Design Manager, you will be embedded within a cross-functional product pod—working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Analysts to design experiences that improve customer satisfaction, conversion, and revenue.This role combines user-centered design, data-driven thinking, and strong execution, contributing to both the optimization of existing journeys and the creation of new, innovative experiences.What You'll Do:Design intuitive, user-centered experiences across key parts of the digital journey (e.g., search, booking, post-booking, mobile app)Take designs from concept through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI to final deliveryEnsure designs are practical, scalable, and aligned with technical constraintsDevelop a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and pain pointsUse customer research, usability testing, and feedback to inform design decisionsAdvocate for the user while balancing business and technical requirementsPartner with product and CRO teams to improve conversion and user experience across the funnelUse data and experimentation insights to iterate on and refine designsIdentify friction points and propose solutions that enhance usability and performanceContribute to and leverage the design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile experiencesMaintain high standards of visual design, interaction design, and usabilityCollaborate with other designers to evolve design patterns and best practicesWork closely with Product Managers to define problems and prioritize solutionsEngineers to ensure smooth implementation and high-quality deliveryProduct Analysts & CRO teams to incorporate data and experimentation insightsParticipate actively in agile ceremonies and product development processesCreate prototypes to communicate design concepts and validate ideasPresent design work clearly and effectively to stakeholdersIncorporate feedback and iterate quicklyPerks You'll Get:Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insuranceEligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributionsFull training to learn the business and enhance professional skillsEmployee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget carsAccess to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and moreWhat We're Looking For:Experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or UI/UX Designer in a digital or e-commerce environmentStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work and problem-solving skillsProficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design best practicesExperience working in cross-functional, agile teamsStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred (Nice to Have)Experience designing for both web and mobile appsExposure to conversion optimization and experimentation (CRO)Familiarity with design systems and component-based designExperience in B2C and/or B2B digital productsThe annual starting salary for this position is between $115,000 - $125,000 annually.
