UX Design LeadSeeking an UX Design Lead to join its API Program and design for business-critical APIs and other developer tools on internal and external facing portals. The UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs for our digital products and services, reporting directly to the UX Design Manager. They will work remotely or in a hybrid capacity, closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, conduct user research, and develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate design concepts and ideas.The ideal candidate is a user-experience professional with a passion for solving problems and creating great robust and standardized experiences.

They must have strong communication and leadership skills, be able to think critically and champion the design process, and have familiarity with design systems. A good understanding of development standards, APIs and software development processes is highly desired.Responsibilities:Conduct user research and create user personasCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockupsConduct user testing and gather feedbackCommunicate design concepts and ideas to stakeholders, lead design reviews and presentationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutionsContinuously improve the design process and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practicesEnsure that designs are accessible and inclusive for all usersCreate documentation and design specificationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field5+ years of experience in a UX design roleExperience shepherding junior designersStrong portfolio of previous UX design workStrong proficiency in Figma or similar design toolsUnderstanding of user-centered design principles and methodologiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong leadership skills and ability to think criticallyA passion for creating great user experiencesExperience working remotely or in a hybrid settingComfortable with remote collaboration tools and technologiesNice to have:Experience working in an Agile development environmentUnderstanding of HTML, CSS and basic web development conceptsKnowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principlesFamiliarity with development standards, APIs and software development processesExperience with research methods such as usability testing, surveys
