From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.What you'll do:Based out of our Chicago (Lemont), IL service centerLoad and unload rental equipment and materials with large and small forkliftsPrepare and verify quality/accuracy of counts of rental equipment prior to deliveryClean and put away rental equipment upon return to service centerKeep the yard and warehouse clean, organized and up to safety standardsDrive inventory accuracy of rental equipment and accessoriesInventory cycle countsWash rental equipmentInspect and repair cableYou are:High School diploma/GED or equivalent0-3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.Excellent customer service skillsEmbraces and promotes safety culturePositive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent qualityReliable and committed to delivering quality performanceAble to work overtime, travel and on-callAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 75lbs.Here's what you'll get:Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekendsHourly range $25 to $27 an hourAnnual bonus programPremium cost medical plan option availableRobust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and moreCareer growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement availableSafety-focused culture working on brand new technology.Other essential job requirements:Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shiftsMust be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devicesMust be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead levelMust have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or laddersMust be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squatOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
