Utility Manager - Traveling Role (Hybrid: Remote + On-Site)

Important: This is a traveling position with a hybrid schedule - one week remote, followed by one week on-site. All travel expenses and per diem are provided .
We're hiring a Utility Manager to lead construction projects in the utility space, including high-voltage and electrical infrastructure. This individual will oversee all phases of utility work - from planning and estimating to execution and compliance - ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

We're hiring a Utility Manager to lead construction projects in the utility space, including high-voltage and electrical infrastructure. This individual will oversee all phases of utility work - from planning and estimating to execution and compliance - ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead utility construction projects from start to finish
* Create and manage detailed project schedules using tools like Procore
* Define scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
* Perform construction estimates and manage contract specifications
* Ensure full compliance with NESC, NEC, OSHA, and local safety codes
* Promote a strong safety culture on all active construction sites
* Coordinate closely with subcontractors and site managers
* Track progress and provide updates to internal stakeholders
* Implement best practices to improve overall construction performance
Qualifications
* 5+ years of project management experience in the utility industry
* Proficiency in scheduling software ( Procore preferred)
* Experience with construction estimating and contract management
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* In-depth knowledge of electrical utility construction, systems, and materials
* PMP Certification preferred; OSHA 30 and other safety certs are a plus
* Comfortable with alternating remote/on-site travel schedule
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary: $110,000 - $145,000 DOE
