Utility Program ManagerCEDA (Community and Economic Development Association) is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping communities thrive and fighting poverty. We are seeking a Utility Program Manager to join our Expansion team and lead operations for utility-funded energy efficiency programs.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing operations and contractor performance, and wants to play a key role in expanding impactful energy programs across Illinois.What You'll Do:Manage day-to-day operations of utility energy efficiency programs, including the Whole Home Electric (WHE) programServe as the primary point of contact between CEDA and implementation contractorsTrack production, performance metrics, and program progressCoordinate with contractors, QA/QC teams, and internal staff to ensure work is completed accurately and on timeLead weekly operations meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-throughMonitor program pipeline, identify bottlenecks, and drive solutionsEnsure timely and accurate reporting, data entry, and documentation (Salesforce or similar systems)Oversee QA/QC workflows, including inspections, corrective actions, and project closeout readinessAnalyze performance data to identify trends and improve program efficiencySupport program expansion efforts and increased production volumeCollaborate with leadership to improve processes and scale operationsPerform other duties as assignedWhy Join Us?Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, generous PTO, and more Growth: Be part of a growing team expanding energy programs across Illinois Impact: Help deliver energy efficiency programs that directly benefit communitiesWhat We're Looking For:Required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience3+ years of experience in: Utility programsEnergy efficiency programsOperations or program management in a compliance-driven environmentExperience working with contractors or implementation partnersStrong experience with reporting, tracking metrics, and managing program performanceMust have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance.Preferred:Experience with utility rebate programs (ComEd or similar)Familiarity with single-family and multifamily energy efficiency programsKnowledge of QA/QC processes and compliance requirementsExperience with tools such as Salesforce, Smartsheet, Asana, or Power BIBackground in energy efficiency or building scienceBPI Certification or similarSkills & Competencies:Strong leadership and coordination skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAdvanced organizational and multitasking skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisionsProblem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational challengesAbility to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and data accuracyReady to Make an Impact?Apply now to join a team focused on expanding energy programs and delivering meaningful results across communities in Illinois.CEDA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
