Utility Plant Operator I

Job Description

Supply high temperature hot water 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For the purpose of domestic hot water, heat and air conditioning for all UNC classrooms, offices and dormitory buildings.

Monitor all functions of the UNC heat plant, so as to supply a continuous supply of high temperature hot water to all UNC buildings. Maintain and operate high temperature hot water boilers and associated equipment. Assist HVAC shop as needed.

The University of Northern Colorado is located in Greeley, Colorado, population over 100,000, an hour's drive north of Denver, and within driving distance of the Rocky Mountains. Minimum Qualifications:

Experience Only: Four (4) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position

Or Education and Experience: A combination of related education, formalized apprenticeship program, and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to four (4) years
