One Family.Purpose Statement: Responsible for safely running different types of table machines and equipment that sheets and processes extruded dough into products that meet customer specifications, while ensuring food defense and quality.Key Accountabilities and Outcomes:Sets up and changes over all equipment to meet customer specifications.Conducts pre-op inspections as required to ensure food safety and equipment readiness.Operates a variety of equipment, some that include extruders, sheeters, mulit-rollers, moulding systems, conveyors. This includes adjusting speed, gap, weight and stroke as needed.Dumps dough in hopperEnsures the extruder is feeding the line with the correct amount of doughControls piece weight and size, utilizes MLOFills flour and toppings hoppersKeeps work area clean and in 6S order to be in compliance with GMP and BRC food safety standards.Takes care of equipment, monitoring it and reporting problems to leadership if they occur.Maintains all required documentationMaintains care of all equipment in assigned area – taking corrective action and getting help as needed.Performs other tasks as assignedCommunicate and work with all associates.
Follow all GMP's, food safety, and quality policies.Ensures all GMP and all Food hygiene and Food safety standards are in compliance.Report all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen, or magnet deficiencies, glass breakage, and pest harborage.Ensure compliance in the areas of food defense, food regulations, and product / process quality; provide adequate coaching as needed.Record accurate and legible results on documentationProvide adequate housekeeping at all times.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Must have good communication skills, both written and verbalHigh School Diploma or GED requiredSpecial certification may be required for use of forklift and chemicalsKnowledge, skills, and ability to operate computer programs as neededOne year experience in a manufacturing/ industrial environmentMedium to high degree of judgment requiredBasic math skills necessaryThe physical capabilities an associate must have to perform the essential functions of this position are:Moderate degree of physical activity on a frequent basisMust be able to lift 55bsRepetitive standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, grasping, climbing, reaching, and moving about the facilityHearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.
