Cavalcade helps property owners reduce utility costs through billing corrections, better rates, tax exemptions, and account changes. We are hiring a Utility Operations Specialist who has worked inside a utility and knows how to get account issues resolved.

Full-time employee | Remote, United States
Base salary: $100,000-$140,000 per year, depending on experience and scope.
Required: prior employment inside an electric, gas, or water utility. Consulting or vendor experience alone does not meet this requirement.
What you will do
• Own utility account requests from initial submission through follow-up and verification.
• Coordinate rate changes, billing corrections, meter requests, account closures, and supporting documentation.
• Work with utility billing, customer service, metering, and other relevant teams.
• Keep accurate records of contacts, commitments, deadlines, and outcomes.
• Resolve stalled requests and escalate with clear evidence.
• Verify changes on subsequent bills and communicate results to the team.
What we are looking for
• Direct utility employment in customer accounts, billing, metering coordination, service operations, or a closely related function.
• Strong follow-through and clear phone and written communication.
• Comfort handling detailed paperwork and multiple active cases.
• Ability to navigate internal utility processes and explain what is needed to move a request forward.
• Confidence working independently with software and a remote team.
