To support patient care, the part-time Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician will complete medication refill authorizations for primary care clinics in a fully remote role, collaborating with pharmacists and care teams to ensure timely access to prescribed medications. Key responsibilities: Review patient charts and gather clinical information to verify eligibility for refill requests Prepare and document refill authorization requests in accordance with state law and pharmacy protocols Communicate with pharmacists and care team members regarding refill requests and potential safety concerns Required qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent is required Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to the state of practice Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and medication distribution Experience with pharmacy technology systems and electronic health records Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
