Managing the coding department's daily operations, the full-time remote Utah Licensed Coding Supervisor will supervise caregivers, address coding issues, oversee QA audits, and participate in operational improvements. Key responsibilities Oversee daily coding functions and monitor departmental KPIs, including charge entry and coding work queues Participate in the hiring process, onboard new caregivers, and provide coaching and corrective action as needed Collaborate with Coding Managers and other departments to achieve Medical Group objectives and ensure adherence to protocols Required qualifications Required: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist - Physician) Required: Demonstrated experience in professional fee coding, including Evaluation & Management (E/M) services Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Minimum of two years of professional fee coding experience and prior supervisory experience Preferred: Experience with Epic EMR and coding for specific specialty service lines
