Evaluating and resolving coding edits in assigned Epic work queues, the full-time Utah Licensed Coding Coordinator will review medical documentation and assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes while working remotely. Key responsibilities Navigate Epic EMR to manage Charge Review, Claim Edit, and Follow-up work queues effectively Assign appropriate coding and modifiers based on medical record documentation and coding guidelines Provide education and training for medical providers and coders while performing quality assurance audits Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of five years of professional fee coding experience, with at least three years in the assigned specialty service line CPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCS-P) credential required Experience with E/M coding and specialty-specific coding required Preferred experience using Epic and managing work queues
